Who can use it
- UK residents aged 18 or over
- A personal PayPal account (business accounts can't apply)
- Pay in 3: orders from £20 to £3,000
- Pay in 30: orders from £1 to £900
- PayPal Credit: subject to a credit check and your approved limit
Good to know
Pay in 3: pay the first instalment at checkout, then two more on the same date over the next two months. No interest and no late fees.
Pay in 30: pay the full amount 30 days after purchase. No interest and no late fees.
PayPal Credit: every purchase of £99 or more gets 0% interest for 4 months. Any balance left after 4 months, and purchases under £99, are charged at 23.9% p.a. (variable). Minimum monthly payments still apply.
Returns & Refunds
Orders paid with finance follow our standard 28-day returns policy. Once we've received and checked your return, we let the provider know and they refund or cancel the payments due. Keep making any scheduled payments until the provider confirms the refund.

What's the difference between Pay in 3 and PayPal Credit?
Pay in 3 splits one purchase into 3 interest-free payments. PayPal Credit is a credit limit linked to your PayPal account that you can use again and again, with 0% for 4 months on purchases of £99 or more.
How do I apply?
Choose PayPal at checkout and log in. Eligible Pay Later options will be shown, and you can apply in a few minutes. If you're approved for PayPal Credit, your credit limit is linked to your PayPal account as soon as you accept the credit agreement.
Will applying affect my credit score?
Checking eligibility for Pay in 3 uses a soft search that only you can see. PayPal Credit applications include a credit check. PayPal shares repayment history with credit reference agencies, which can affect your ability to borrow elsewhere.
Why can't I see PayPal Pay Later at checkout?
Pay Later options depend on your order value and PayPal's eligibility checks. PayPal Credit's 0% offer needs a purchase of £99 or more.
Can I use a discount code with PayPal Credit?
Yes. Discount codes apply to your order total as normal. Interest-free terms are set by PayPal and apply to the amount you pay.
