What's Covered
Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Barbells that bend or break through a manufacturing fault, within their warranty period and load limits.
- The original purchaser, with proof of purchase and a valid order number.
- Repaired or replacement parts and products, for the rest of the original warranty period.
Not covered
- Damage from misuse, negligence, accidents, alteration, poor handling or improper storage.
- Normal wear and tear, or products that have reached the end of their life through use.
- Damage from using kit in a way, or on a surface, that the care guidance below rules out.
- Products marked home use only (for example Lock-Jaw collars) used in a commercial facility.
- Further damage caused by carrying on using a product after a fault appears. If something looks wrong, stop using it and tell us straight away.
Commercial use. Commercial use means kit used in any facility that charges for access or training, such as gyms, boxes, PT studios, clubs and schools, or any order delivered to a business address. Where a table shows separate commercial cover, that period applies.
Using & Caring For Your Kit
Following this guidance keeps your warranty valid and your kit in good shape. Maintenance videos are on the product pages, and our equipment care guide has a full cleaning and safety checklist.
Barbells
- Use on shock-absorbing gym flooring at least 20mm thick. Stable matting or flooring not designed to absorb drops will void the warranty.
- Use with Again Faster bumper plates. Don't drop the bar loaded with iron plates.
- Don't drop the bar onto benches, boxes, spotter arms, pins, concrete or unprotected floors, and don't use it for rack pulls.
- Don't store a bar loaded on a rack. Indoor use only.
- Maximum loads: 20kg Team and Evolution bars 300kg; 15kg Team and Evolution bars 205kg. Training Technique Barbell: no more than 30kg of bumper plates.
Bumper plates
- Don't repeatedly drop 5kg or 10kg plates on their own from above hip height. This damages them and voids the warranty.
- Don't drop any plates onto stable matting or unprotected floors. Use shock-absorbing flooring at least 20mm thick.
- Tri-Grip plates aren't designed to be dropped during Olympic lifts. Doing so voids the warranty.
- Carry out regular maintenance as shown in the product videos.
Everything else
- Assemble and use products as described in the instructions, and check bolts and fixings regularly.
- Keep kit indoors, dry and away from direct heat.
- Soft plyo boxes aren't jerk blocks. Don't drop equipment onto them.
- Wipe down upholstery and grips after use.

Your Legal Rights
Our warranty is in addition to, and doesn't affect, your legal rights. If you're a consumer, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If they aren't, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund even after the warranty period has ended. You can reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days. See our terms and conditions for details, or Citizens Advice for independent guidance.
Business customers: see clause 13 of our terms and conditions.
FAQs
Do I need to send the item back if it's being replaced?
Usually, yes. We'll tell you how to return it, ideally in its original packaging, before we send the replacement. Sometimes photos are enough and we won't need it back.
Can I transfer the warranty if I sell my kit?
No. The warranty applies to the original purchaser only, with proof of purchase and a valid order number.
Does the warranty cover kit used in my own gym or PT studio?
Yes. Commercial cover applies to any facility that charges for access or training, or any order delivered to a business address. Competition rack and rig frames keep their full 10 years in commercial use. Other rack and bench frames have commercial cover shown in the tables above.
If my product is replaced, does the warranty start again?
No. Repaired or replacement parts and products are covered for the rest of the original warranty period.
How long will my claim take?
We reply within 24–48 hours on working days. If we need to replace a product, we'll tell you when it will be dispatched, including if it's currently out of stock.
Something's missing from my order. Is that a warranty claim?
No. Large orders sometimes arrive in more than one delivery, and we'll email you if an item is out of stock. If you haven't heard from us, email [email protected] with your order number within 7 days of delivery.
