The weight training bar is known as a 'standard' weightlifting barbell, for people looking to perform barbell exercises at home such as the key powerlifting movements, squats, deadlifts and bench press.

This weight training bar is compatible with standard 50mm (2") weight or bumper plates and includes a medium knurl for ease of movement repetition but also good grip. Great for training plans that include squats, deadlifts and other strength training programs.

If you are looking for a sturdy barbell option that is economical, the weight training bar is the perfect workout partner for you.

Please note that this barbell is NOT suitable for dropping or Olympic weightlifting movements (cleans, snatches, jerks), and does not include a warranty for commercial environments. Using the weight training barbell for any Olympic weightlifting movements will void the warranty.

As with all of our barbells, you need a minimum flooring thickness of 20mm to maintain the product warranty.
