Europe Shipping Update (Brexit)

We are still shipping orders to Europe from our website and to businesses, despite the United Kingdom leaving the European Union's single market on 1 January 2021. Custom clearance is needed for goods moving between the UK and Europe: Again Faster will not be responsible for these charges. You will pay any VAT, local taxes, duties, and clearance fees once your products arrive at your shipping destination country's border.

Business Orders

We can now offer pallet shipping into Europe with 'Delivery Duty Paid' (DDP) delivery, which means:

Any Brexit delivery complications are removed with all costs paid upfront, leaving no unexpected charges for customers.

We take into account the customs declarations and duty requirements in advance, including these full costs in your order shipping charges. With DDP incoterms, your orders don’t need to stop while VAT and duty are paid, meaning your orders will flow through smoothly to you, as they did before Brexit.

  • For larger orders delivered by freight pallet, you will need to provide us with an EORI number before we can ship your goods.
  • You will also be required to provide us with an EORI number if your order is being shipped to a business address.
  • You can find out more information about the EORI number here: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/business/customs-procedures-import-and-export/customs-procedures/economic-operators-registration-and-identification-number-eori_en
  • E-commerce Orders

At present we are offering a 'Delivery at Place' (DAP) delivery, which means:

The customer (end receiver) is responsible for any Duties, Taxes, and Clearance fees, and will be expected to pay any applicable charges before having their parcel delivered. Again Faster will only charge you the net price of the products (excluding VAT) and shipping delivery costs.

    • Net Product Prices (Ex-VAT) -  European customers will only pay the net prices for products.  This won't include any sales taxes or VAT. No VAT is charged at the point of purchase.
    • Shipping - Shipping  will still be charged as usual on all orders at the checkout.
    • Local Taxes, Duties, and Clearing - You will be required to pay all local VAT, duty, and clearance taxes and fees to the courier. These costs will be confirmed once the goods have arrived at the destination country and the courier will contact you. In some instances, the courier will not ask for payment before delivery, so they can get your order delivered to you as quickly as possible. In these circumstances, your order will be delivered and you will be invoiced afterwards.
      • We will not charge any VAT, duty, and clearance taxes and fees on the website when you checkout on the website, and upon placing an order you assume all responsibility for these costs when the goods arrive at the destination country.
    • Order ReturnsWhen returning unwanted item(s) (excluding faulty items or incorrect items) you will have to return them at your cost. We will only refund the costs of the item that you returned in line with our returns policies, which will be the original net cost amount of the respective item(s) ordered. This means we cannot refund any VAT, local taxes, duties, and clearing costs that were already paid to the courier. These costs are paid to the local government's customs and excise office by the courier and are, therefore, non-refundable.
    • Order Cancellation - Once we have dispatched the order on the 'Delivery at Place' (DAP) service, the order cannot be cancelled. If for ANY reason you do not accept the goods or do not pay the VAT, local taxes, duties, and clearing costs, then the goods will be returned back to us and all costs incurred to us from the courier will be deducted from the order refund. This, unfortunately, we have no control over as our courier partners would have paid this directly to the authorities on your behalf and there is no way we can claim this back.

    Europe Shipping & Brexit FAQs

    • Where is your warehouse located and what has changed?

Currently, we are shipping all orders from our main warehouse in the United Kingdom.

As a result of Brexit, there is now customs clearance needed for goods moving between the UK and Europe. Again Faster will not be responsible for these charges. You will pay any VAT, local taxes, duties, and clearing once your products arrive at your shipping destination country's border.

    • How are you shipping to Europe?

At present we are offering a 'Delivery at Place' (DAP) service, which means customers in Europe will only be charged the net product price and shipping costs by Again Faster on the website. Any VAT, local taxes, duties, and clearing costs are to be paid by the customer when the order arrives at their shipping destination country's border, typically paid to the delivery company or courier.

Here is an example of how this works:

      1. Place an order on againfaster.eu and checkout to make payment.

      2. You will only pay the net product cost and shipping; no VAT or sales taxes will be charged on the products.

      3. Your order will be packed and shipped from our UK warehouse to your delivery location.

      4. Once the order arrives at your location's border, you will be contacted to pay the VAT, local taxes, and clearance.

      5. When payment has been made the courier will release your order and deliver it to your shipping address.

    • How long will my order take to arrive?

Shipments to Europe have been taking around 5-7 working days to be delivered once dispatched. However, there may be additional delays for any border checks, which are out of our control, but you will be updated if this happens.

    • How can I track my order?

If available, order tracking details will be provided on the shipment email; otherwise, we will include an estimated time of arrival. Orders placed Friday will ship on Monday, and you'll receive tracking information by Tuesday. If you would like to check the status of your order, please email us at [email protected]

Once your order has been dispatched you can use our tracking system to track your order.

    • There's an item missing from my order

If there's an item(s) missing from your order, it may be the case that the item(s) is currently out of stock or it has been sent in a separate parcel; you will have been notified in advance if this is the case.

If you have not received any email communication about changes to your order, and you're still missing an item(s), please contact us using the form below, including:

      1. Order reference number
      2. Missing item(s)

For missing item(s) claims to be valid, please ensure that you make a claim within 7 days of your delivery date. Our customer support team will resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Again Faster will not accept liability for lost orders if you select for your parcel to be left in a safe place or with a neighbour.

    • What if I no longer require the order?

Returning item(s) has many implications now due to Brexit. We kindly ask you to carefully consider your purchase(s) beforehand, because if you want to return goods for a refund, there will be significant costs (costs depend on which country you are in, what items you have ordered, and which courier handles your delivery). The size, weight, volume, and value of the goods are all taken into account for returns, plus there may be return clearing costs from some countries.
