With more and more people choosing to engage in some kind of fitness, the time has come to revisit the humble home gym. Whilst the home gym might not be suited to everyone, for some, the 'gainz' of training at home are numerous.
Busy lifestyles and a rise in personal management apps mean that we are all looking to optimise how we spend our time. Maybe the commute to the gym is just too much or maybe waiting around for your preferred piece of kit is a little frustrating or maybe you just prefer the peace of training in solitude. Either way, we have assembled some of our favourite home gym equipment setups to help inspire your project.
We may be a little biased, but our Evolution Rack is jam-packed with features, making this simple setup an incredibly effective training space. The rack features a multi-grip bar so Scott can work on pull-ups, as well as plate storage to help keep the gym tidy. Not forgetting the trusty Concept 2 Rowing Machine for that all-important cardio training.
Of course, not everyone has a conveniently placed, mostly unused garage at hand to turn into a home gym, so it's great to see Cyril's use of another room in the house. We also LOVE the functional use of a pallet for some dumbbell storage (or course we provide this if you aren't up for the DIY!).
Andrew has created an absolute beast of a home gym, with more functionality than you can shake a stick at. We love this home gym equipment set up for the sheer range of training it provides without looking too cluttered. This is the home gym holy grail.
Maxime's training space is the embodiment of the classic home garage gym; simple, clear and functional. We love this gym for it's simple, not too fussy setup but with a good selection of equipment to ensure a range of workouts are possible.
Tyler's gym is another example of a simple yet effective home set up. We are a big fan of the decor and choice of air conditioning, perhaps one of the greatest aspects of your own training space is being able to make it your own. You get to fill your space with whatever you need to keep you motivated.
